In the Matter of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2008, POC 2017/20. The Court of General Gaol Delivery ruled restraint orders against seven respondents invalid and returned control of all assets to their owners.

United States v Day et al., 2:19-cr-155. Although the indictment of four officials of PacNet Services was obtained in Nevada in June 2019, counsel for PacNet have remained in continuous communication with the Department of Justice, which has taken no substantive steps forward to advance the prosecution.

2021
National Crime Agency v PacNet Services Ltd. Westminster Magistrates’ Court, District Judge Ezzat. PacNet Services successfully resisted an application by the NCA for forfeiture of approximately USD $2.5 million and severely criticized the applicant agency for failure to look at the evidence and form an impartial view. A costs award of approximately GBP 104,000 followed.
